Há mais de um mês que não publicava nada no blog,

mas foi por uma razão importante!

Mixed Media Art

Quando iniciei o meu blog fiz referência a um curso online de Mixed Media Art,

com a Jeanne Oliver e as outros dois

com a Christy Tomlinson e a doce Junelle Jacobsen.

Da junção dos ensinamentos das três aqui fica a minha primeira tela:

When I started my blog I made reference to an online mixed media art course with

Jeanne Oliver and another two with Christy Tomlinson and the sweet Junelle Jacobsen.

With the junction of the teachings of the three ladies I made my first canvas:

Hoje terminaram oficialmente as férias dos meus filhos.

Decidi levá-los a um passeio na montanha.

Visitámos as Cascatas de Fisgas do Ermelo, em Mondim de Basto, Vila Real.

A paisagem é deslumbrante!!!

Today officially ended the vacation of my children.

I decided to take them for a walk on the mountain.

We visited the waterfalls of Fisgas do Ermelo, in Mondim de Basto, Vila Real.

The scenery is breathtaking!!!

Today begins a new stage in my life in the arts of scrapbooking!

I became a member of a design team - the new Tubo de Ensaio design team!

Comboios - Trains

Há dias visitei no aniversário da minha sobrinha Mariana uma casa particular - A Casa da Aldeia em Vila Nova de Gaia, cujo dono tem uma paixão por comboios e coleciona comboios elétricos!

Até tem no jardim uma pista de comboios!
 Foi uma diversão para adultos e crianças!

A few days ago, I visited a house whose owner has a particular passion for trains - A Casa da Aldeia in Vila Nova de Gaia and collects electric trains. In the garden even has a train track! It was a fun for adults and children.

The Art of Wild Abbandonment

Há poucos meses decidi iniciar uma série de workshops pela internet.

O primeiro deles chama-se The Art of Wild Abbandonment.

As professoras são a talentosa e doce Junelle Jacobson e a simpática e não menos talentosa Christy Tomlinson.

O tema do curso é Art Journaling e é baseado na ideia de que podemos encontrar criatividade em qualquer lugar á nossa volta!

Tem sido uma óptima experiência.

Aqui ficam alguns trabalhos que fiz inspirados nas aulas:

A few months ago I decided to start a series of an online Workshops.

The first one was The Art of Wild Abandonment.

The teachers are the talented and sweet Junelle Jacobson and the fun and no less talented Christy Tomlinson.

This is an Art Journaling Course and is based off the idea that we can find creativity all around us.

It has been a great experience!

Chocolate Quente XL12

O Chocolate Quente é o primeiro clube de Scrapbooking e Cardmaking em Portugal.

Em 28 e 29 de Abril deste ano ocorreu em Lisboa um evento organizado pelo clube, no qual eu estive presente, o Chocolate Quente XL2012, onde os participantes fizeram 4 workshops e dois mini projetos.

As designers foram 4: Patricia Villas Boas, Teresa Collins, Tiffany Smith e Paula Pascual.

Adorei! Espero poder repetir nos próximos anos.

Chocolate Quente is the first Club of Scrapbooking an Cardmaking of Portugal.

April 28 and 29 ran an event organized by the club in Lisbon where I attended, ans where the participants made 4 workshops and 2 mini projects.

The designers were:Patricia Villas Boas, Teresa Collins, Tiffany Smith and Paula Pascual.

I loved it and I hope to repeat in the coming years!
